"Nothing makes us happier than seeing people hand out serious awards to great publications, like in 1997 when you gave the magazines award to Salon, or in 1998 when you awarded the print and zines webby to Salon, or when Salon won the 1999 print and zine webby, or in 2000 when, although Salon was nominated but failed to win an award, that wonderful, underrated, nearly unknown gem the Stile Project got the increased exposure and recognition it so richly deserved."
