I was forced to spend some time in a Hollister store this weekend. I don't understand why anybody would spend $15 on a new shirt that is designed to look used, when they could just as easily go and buy a shirt that was actually used from a thrift store for a fraction of the cost.

When I posed this question to the people I was with, who unlike me, actually shop at places like Hollister, their response was, "A used shirt? You mean, one that somebody else actually wore? That's gross."
