Between Away Messages, Google Bombing, and folksonomies, I'm spending my 5000-8000 word paper writing resources on folksonomies.

I'm already wondering if that was the right decision, especially since it is the subject with perhaps the most tenuous connection to computer mediated communication, the subject of the course the paper is for.

But the fact that I was able to make a decision where all three of those topics would have been acceptable does remind me that I'm in the right place and focusing on interesting things. (It almost offset the reference to pet rocks in that other class last night, but not really.)
