After class Tuesday night, the last session of that particular class, I really felt like having a beer.

Which is weird, because I can't ever remember in my life actually wanting a beer.

Perhaps I am entering a new alcohol phase in my life.

PREVIOUS ALCOHOL PHASES OF MY LIFE, AS DEFINED BY DRINK OF CHOICE

• two shots of Bacardi 151, followed by a large amount of Coke.
• large mug of E & J Cask and Cream
• brandy snifter of Easy Jesus
• Baileys and ice
• ...Bottles of Samuel Adams? (You know, he was a brewer and a patriot.)

But I doubt it, as I think my desire for a beer said a lot more about the class than anything else.
