I've lived across the street from a Family Video video rental store for four months now. Since I live with a Tivo, I hadn't found reason to visit it until this week.

This week I decided I needed to watch Pee-Wee's Big Adventure, again. It was then that I realized how convenient it was to have a video store across the street.

However, Family Video does not carry this seminal piece of American cinema.

You read that right. No Pee-Wee's Big Adventure.

Why even bother having a video store if you aren't going to carry Pee-Wee's Big Adventure? Why indeed.

Now, rather than being a source of convenience, the Family Video is a source of horrible frustration. Frustration... and sadness.
