What I remember most about the first Narnia book was the creepy-bizarrely-sexual scene where Edmund first meets the White Witch and sits with her in the sleigh. And she "seduces" him. (With candy.)

They got that scene right in the movie, too, although afterwards there was discussion that the White Witch looked exactly like David Bowie, which kind of changed my view on the whole thing.
