"I can't believe you made her convert. Don't you feel guilty?"

"I didn't make her convert."

"Do you still talk to her?"

"I still call her on the holidays."

"Where is she now?"

"She's in medical school at Michigan."

"Really? My ex-girlfriend is in medical school there too. Maybe they're friends!"

And even though they almost certainly aren't, in my mind they're best pals, making the world seem a little smaller.
