Just Try Being Thankful Sometimes

“Try writing down five things you’re grateful for at the end of each day. It’s one of those things that has research backed correlation to happiness, but in ways we don’t really understand.”

“It makes sense. That part of my brain doesn’t ever get used. It’s atrophied. It’s a forced exercise to force those neurons to fire. And it helps cause a re-valuation of events: good things are happening I just don’t pay attention to unless I force myself to think harder about it.”

“Oh, and you should take a lot more drugs.”
